Story
Night falls. The sound of a galloping horse breaks the silence. A slender silhouette stands on the lava-coloured sand, listening, its face turned towards the darkness. Only the fabric of its plastron is visible. Suddenly, a black thoroughbred bursts from the charred trunks, rearing up in the mist. The shadow steps forward, grabs its mane and leaps onto its back. Nervous energy meets strength, fear gives way to gentleness, and without a word, their forces grow stronger. Soon, man and horse become one, disappearing into the last light of the day. A dazzling rose glows on the rider’s breastplate.
